RACE ENTRY
MEMBERSHIP:
All runners will be required to purchase their own timing chip.
If you DO NOT already own a chip please purchase one with the registration category applicable to you.
If you DO NOT own a timing chip (includes chip purchase of $15)
Bulk Registration - $195.00

ENTRY FEES:
$7 per event, $5 for Students and Pensioners.
Entries will be accepted on Race Day up to 20 minutes prior to the advertised start time of the race except in the case of split races when entries close 20 minutes prior to the first race on that day.
INVITATION RUNNERS:
An entry fee of $10.00 applies to Invitation Runners except for the September Half Marathon, which will have a $30 entry fee. Secondary school students 16 years and over $5. Runners will be timed but and will be eligible for fastest time prizemoney but not the handicap prizemoney. Invitation Runners must run with a race number provided by the club and yellow tag on their top.
NEW MEMBERS:
New members will be started on predetermined marks for their first six runs, during which they are not eligible for prize money but will be eligible for championship prizes and points. New members must wear a yellow tag on their top.
TEAMS & ALTERNATE 5 km RACES:
Runners need to enter by the Sunday prior to the teams race. Teams will be published just prior to the race. Teams will need to ensure that the full team is present.
A 5 km race will be held with all races over 10 km. These races will hold no championship points but will be recorded as a club run.
NOTE: The first and last races of the season, i.e. Geelong Half Marathon and Dawn Buster are not counted as official club runs.
HANDICAPPING:

COURSE GRADINGS
A - Easy: Due to course being flat, even surface or short in distance.
B - Medium-Difficult: Due to course having some hills and possibly some off-road surfaces or being of long distance.
