Joe Weiller- 300 runs

 

      Joe joined the club in 1985. As you can see it has taken him 25 years to reach this milestone of 300 runs.  Over that time Joe has notched 8 successes.

     Joe’s first win came in 1986 when he won the Grovedale 7km Novices race in 27 min 36 seconds. In 1989, Joe won the Queen’s Park 14km in 54min 32 seconds. 1996 was a big year for Joe.  He won the Frontmarkers 5km division of the Sealed Series at Eastern Park and also the overall series. In 1999, Joe won the Frontmarkers 10 km division of the Sealed series at St Leonards in 46 min 58 sec. Joe followed up by winning the 2001 Balyang 10km race in 45 min 36 sec. Joe’s next success came in 2007 when he was part of the winning team in the Musketeer’s race with Lydia Bellew and Geoff Clark.  Joe tasted further success in the Sealed Series when he won the 5km Frontmarkers division in 26 min 3 sec.

    Joe is a competent cyclist who competes in the Supervets at Paraparap each Wednesday.
